Company Profile
We Know The Food Industry And Its
People.
We have over twenty-five years of first-hand experience with the specialized
players, politics, language, and needs of the food business. And we
maintain contact and awareness of industry concerns through membership
in numerous professional organizations. For example, we belong to IFMA
and regularly attend its functions. And we also attend the National
and Regional tradeshows sponsored by organizations such as the NRA,
ASFSA, and IDDBA.
We know how to evaluate the company
and the job.
We're selective. We won't work with every company out there. The way
we see it, only when we're sold on a company can we communicate its
strengths - with enthusiasm and confidence - to a potential candidate.
We know how positions fare against others out in the marketplace, and
what aspects to focus on in presenting these positions to applicants.
We know how to find the most qualified
candidates.
And we pinpoint them through a variety of sources, including:
Database Review: Compiled
since 1983 our database contains thousands of names of consistent high
performers currently working in every segment of the Food Industry,
including Food Service, Supermarket, Warehouse Clubs, Convenience Stores
and Vending, Dairy-Deli-Bakery, and Industrial Foods. We update this
database continuously.
Trade Advertising: We regularly
advertise in national and regional industry trade journals and on the
Internet to let people know of jobs we are in the process of filling.
Personal Contact: We spend
time each day recruiting appropriate candidates for specific positions
we're trying to fill. We also review over twenty new, unsolicited referrals
that we receive each day from satisfied clients.
Screening: We use our reference
checking formats to screen each candidate. So far, we've developed 12
different questionnaires to fit every type of reference relationship
a candidate will list.
We know how to negotiate win/win
situations.
Naturally, our primary commitment is to the employer who pays our fees.
However, we recognize that if an opportunity isn't right for the candidate,
both the employer and the candidate lose. We strive for a WIN/WIN scenario
instead. Through personal contact and careful qualifying, we make sure
that a position can fulfill a particular candidate's professional aspirations
and at least some personal goals. This makes it easier to avoid the
pitfalls of "counter offers," and to counsel candidates through the
various emotions they experience in separating from their former companies.
As a result, we rarely lose a placement.
We know how to maintain trust and
confidentiality.
Secrecy is often basic to a company's search for the right manager
or executive. It's equally important to the candidate who hasn't yet
made a final commitment to the position. No one is more understanding
of this than Ann Bond Associates. We're frequently chosen to conduct
the industry's top secret searches because our clients know we don't
discuss their names until authorization has been given.
When food companies look to invest
in new executives, they put stock in Bond.
